Newborn Twins Session | Chicago Newborn Photorapher

Twins! Meet Beckham and Sienna (don’t you just LOVE their names?! Swoon!). These two are precious little miracle babies. The day before their newborn session was their actual due date, yet they were almost 11 weeks old at their session! Born at 29 weeks, they spent a good amount of time in the NICU, growing their little bodies and getting ready to come home. I’ve been waiting since February, when I heard the news of their late December birth, for their newborn session. I was so excited to hear that they were home and doing well, so we quickly scheduled their in home newborn session.

I have never attempted a “true” newborn session with 11 week old babies, and we knew going into it that we would just see how the babies did and go with what worked best for them. They were dream babies! Goodness they slept like champs! They slept through most of the poses, and we couldn’t have asked for a better session. Their parents are so wonderful and great to work with, I really enjoyed meeting them and capturing this time in their families life.

I don’t see twins very often for newborn session, but in late February I photographed a set, these two and another set in May! I am so excited! I love twins 🙂 Triplets anyone?
